In addition to performing, I am an active Double Bass and Electric Bass educator, and have enjoyed teaching for over 10 years. I run my own teaching practice on the near west side of Madison. I teach all ages and skill levels and instruct in many genres of music. Currently, my students range in age from elementary to adult. I’ve prepared students for auditions and music competitions like the Wisconsin Solo and Ensemble Festival. I’ve also coached bassists who are entering into professional music careers with signed and touring bands. My bass students have been accepted into music programs at institutions such as The Berklee School of Music, University of Miami, University of Wisconsin-Madison and UW-Eau Claire. I’m an active member of the organization Dane County Music Instruction (DCMI), a group of working musicians  in Dane County who are also dedicated music educators.
